Polyurethane negative pressure foaming mould and its forming method on faux stone veneer

Polyurethane is a common polymer material, which has the characteristics of light weight and high strength, so it is widely used in the fields of automotive interior and exterior decoration materials, furniture decoration materials on faux stone veneers and so on.

Among them, when polyurethane is used as decorative materials for house faux stone veneers, because its surface structure is usually irregular, the mold structure used is also diverse and the carving process is complex. Generally, the product with rich polyurethane surface is obtained by injecting liquid raw materials into the mold and cooling and shaping.

In the production process of Pu Faux Stone veneer, the traditional method is to use the positive pressure cavity for foaming injection. The polyurethane material formed by this method will be affected by air resistance during the flow process of the cavity, thus affecting the flow performance, resulting in increased polyurethane consumption and waste. In addition, the product surface quality is poor, affecting the post-treatment cost. During the forming process of the faux stone veneer siding, it is difficult to ensure the air tightness of the mold. If air leakage occurs, the quality of polyurethane products will be greatly reduced. At the same time, due to the high mold temperature and long cooling time after forming, the ordinary cooling method is difficult to meet the requirements of production efficiency.

Therefore, in combination with the above technical problems, we are developing a new technical solution on the foaming faux stone. It is hoped that the production efficiency, surface simulation degree and material cost can be improved.
