Foaming machine of the PU faux stone veneer




With the improvement of people's awareness of energy conservation, environmental protection and safety, polyurethane foam wall decorative materials with low atomization and low odor have been used in Faux Stone veneer, and more house decorative wall panels have also been replaced with PU foaming material, which has promoted the emergence of a new and more environmentally friendly and safe Pu foammaterial. The development of new polyols and amine catalysts and the improvement of foaming technology can reduce the odor caused by the volatilization of polyurethane foaming. I believe that with the progress and development of science and technology, high-performance, safer and healthier household wall decoration foam products will appear in people's vision in the near future, and Pu Faux Stone panel will be used in more fields.


1. Process materials

Polyurethane refers to a polymer with multiple urethane (--nhcoo--) groups on the main chain of the polymer structure. It is called polyurethane in Chinese and polyurethane in English.

Raw material composition of PU foaming material:

Component a (white): polyol component (POL for short)

a. Main material: polyether / polyester polyol

b. Crosslinking agent: diethanolamine, triethanolamine

c. Catalyst: gel, foaming catalyst

d. Surfactant: silicone oil

e. Blowing agent: water, 141b

Others: antioxidant, flame retardant, etc

Component B (black material) isocyanate (ISO for short)

a. Toluene diisocyanate


2 PU faux stone veneer foaming equipment

The Pu annular foaming production line consists of two parts: the cadre and the wet end equipment.

The cadre equipment is mainly composed of mold carrier, mold closer and hydraulic and electrical control system; Wet end equipment mainly includes high-pressure foaming machine, metering system, hydraulic station, etc. The elliptical ring line has many advantages, such as more work stations and shorter die change time.


Pu faux stone veneer foaming mold is generally aluminum mold, which has good thermal conductivity, no rust and long service life (more than 300000 pieces) because the foaming needs to be carried out under certain pressure.


The faux stone veneer foaming process flow:

① Raw material premixing: premix the highly active polyether polyol with small materials (water or physical foaming agent, stabilizer, catalyst, crosslinking agent, silicone oil) according to the formula proportion;


② High pressure mixing: component A and component B are sent to the mixing head of the manipulator through the metering pump. Under the hydraulic pressure, the two components are sprayed into the mixing chamber through the nozzle at high pressure and high speed, and collide with each other to fully mix;


③ Pouring: the equipment automatically identifies the mold, raw material pressure and measurement information through the mobey card, and the evenly mixed chemical material flows out of the mixing head into the mold cavity of Pu faux stone veneer;


④ Maturing: the poured mold is closed by the mold closer, and the mold is maturing under a certain pressure to form a faux stone veneer;


⑤ Take out the mold: the operator takes out the products in the mold, checks the surface defects of the products, timely informs the product defects at the upper station, and puts the products on the foam breaker for opening;


⑥ Mold cleaning: the operator shall clean the mold cavity, parting surface, air groove and wax deposit in the air needle to prepare for the next faux stone veneer preparation;


⑦ Spray release agent: spray release agent on the surface of the mold cavity with a fog spray gun;


⑧ Surface treatment: after four surface treatment processes, a perfect surface with the same texture as natural stone is obtained.
