PU faux stone is made of polyurethane. Polyurethane (i.e. polyurethane, abbreviated as PU) is a polymer compound containing many repeated - nhcoo - groups on the polymer primary key. Polyurethane series products are generally high molecular compounds obtained by polymerization of binary or multivariate organic isocyanates and polyols under the action of a variety of additives. If both main materials contain only two or less hydroxyl functional groups, the compounds with linear structure will be obtained by polymerization. If one or both main materials have three or more functional groups, the polymers with body structure will be obtained, Due to the different structures of polymers, their properties vary greatly. The performance of Faux Stone Wall in different manufacturing processes is quite different due to different treatment processes.


Polyurethane raw materials are widely used in various industries. Due to different industrial characteristics and products, different industries have different performance requirements for composite materials with polyurethane as the main raw material. Pu Faux Stone is also completely different from the polyurethane used only for heat preservation in refrigerators and cold storages. Although their appearance and structure look very similar, as an integrated building heat preservation and waterproof material, PU foaming Faux Stone breaks the common fault of traditional building materials that have single function, no water-proof heat preservation, no water-proof heat preservation, and once the waterproof layer leaks, the insulation layer will lose its heat preservation function. Compared with other single function insulation or waterproof materials, polyurethane rigid foam has obvious advantages.


Polyurethane rigid foam has more functions, as well as heat preservation, waterproof, sound insulation, vibration absorption and other functions.


On the one hand, the thermal conductivity (thermal insulation performance) of Faux Stone Wall is the best in the industry. It is the thermal insulation material with the lowest thermal conductivity (≤ 0.024, green and environment-friendly fluorine-free foaming technology) and the highest thermal resistance among all domestic building materials. The thermal conductivity is only half of that of EPS foamed polystyrene board, which is far better than that of polystyrene board (EPS board and XPS board). It has excellent energy-saving effect. On the other hand, with the continuous improvement of domestic energy-saving standards, The requirements for thermal insulation performance of exterior wall insulation materials will be higher and higher, and the advantages of Pu Faux Stone Wall will be further developed.


The Pu Faux Stone Wall is a thermosetting material, which will not embrittle at -100 ℃ and flow and adhesion at 150 ℃, and has good thermal stability. In addition, a carbonized protective layer is formed on the surface of rigid polyurethane foam during the combustion process, which can effectively prevent the spread of flame; The polystyrene board is a thermoplastic material. The thermal deformation temperature is 70 ~ 80 ℃, and the melting temperature is reached at 100 ℃, and the flowing and crashing phenomenon occurs during the combustion of the polystyrene board, which further intensifies the spread of the fire.


This Faux Stone Wall can be used at -50 ℃ ~ 150 ℃ for a long time without any change in performance. The short-term use temperature can reach 250 ℃, and the foam will not be significantly damaged.


According to the study on the thermal conductivity of several thermal insulation materials at different temperatures, it can be seen that the thermal insulation performance of Faux Stone is always ahead of other thermal insulation materials, with good temperature resistance, whether at ultra-low temperature or high temperature.
